Three days work. A day designing then another two actually painting this beautiful song bird.

This is my first in a collection inspired by my māori connections and a tribute to my Uncles, Aunties, cousins, and whanau.

A personal māori design that may not follow traditional methods but comes from my heart. Also, an attempt to improve my composition to add more to my painting.

‘Use your voice’

A voice is a gift. Like the tūī carrying its song through the forest, we each have something uniquely our own to contribute to the world. Growth comes from listening, learning, and eventually having the courage to let that voice be heard.
